Gary is a 2016 Graduate of the Lights Film School and a 2022 participant of the Universidad San
Francisco de Quito Culinary Arts program.

Gary has been recognized for his global travels including multiple dives on two continents.This
would include shark diving in The Bahamas,(Caribbean) ocean clean-ups in The Galapagos,
(Ecuador) and many dives in his home state of South Carolina. Gary has also hiked Machu
Picchu and Tambomachay (Peru).

Gary serves in the capacity of an open water and rescue diver for GEA. He instructs students on
how the technical equipment operates.

A strong supporter of the state and community, Gary served as a Private in the South Carolina
State Guard and was on the search and rescue team. Gary has been recognized as an outstanding
leader and has been awarded the Iron Man award.
